The Faraday team are well placed to assist and guide leaseholders through the process of collective enfranchisement and to manage the property once the freehold has been purchased.
The Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993 and the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002 introduced significant benefits to leaseholders both individually and collectively. The rights of lessees to collectively acquire the freehold of their building or for an individual lessee to extend their lease for an additional 90 years are set out in these complex Acts and interpreting and applying this legislation requires knowledge and experience, both of which we are able to provide.
