Given our strong relationship with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) registered brokers, Faraday hold preferential status with the main underwriters who are able to receive an extensive range of comprehensive insurance products applicable to blocks of flats, all of which are negotiated via the brokers to ensure best market value and, wherever possible, additional savings to benefit our clients.
The brokers we use are fully authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority. Faraday Property Management do not undertake any advice on insurance matters. We are also members of the Royal institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and therefore abide by their Code of Conduct.
The arrangement of ancillary insurances such as Engineering, Employer’s Liability, Directors & Officers Liability and Terrorism Cover is also readily available where requested.
With regard to our own cover we do, of course, carry full Professional Indemnity Insurance and in addition our clients are guaranteed protection under the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Money Protection Scheme.

ALEXANDER BONHILL – INSURANCE BROKER
At Faraday, we have a close relationship with insurance broker Alexander Bonhill. By choosing Alexander Bonhill serves to benefit our clients by saving them a large proportion of fee, as we currently have approximately £2 billion worth of polices in place with them. Please be aware that Alexander Bonhill charges a brokerage fee as any other broker would. However, we do not take an additional commission which is still common practice in the industry.
As a result of this relationship, we also find that matters such as insurance claims processing and problem resolution get dealt with much faster. Questions are handled promptly by the team at Alexander Bonhill and they also have claims handlers who have extensive experience in dealing with our managed blocks and are therefore able to keep the property managers fully updated and offer greater support.
