Robert Apperley

Robert began his career in what was then called the “Housing Association movement”. He transferred to the private sector in 1980, joining the residential property management department of Keith Cardale Groves. In 1983, he moved to a respected firm of surveyors and property managers, thereafter becoming a Director of that Company in 1992. Bringing over 30 years of operational experience with him, Robert left that organisation in 2006 to help establish Faraday. Robert’s main responsibilities centre on Property Management and overseeing the Accounts team.

Daniel Coupland

Daniel qualified with Honours in Urban Estate Surveying in 1992, and is a Corporate Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing. Following development work in both the Public and Voluntary Sector Housing fields, he joined a well respected firm of Central London managing agents in 1996, thereafter becoming a Director of that Company in 2002. In 2006, he left to jointly set up Faraday and primarily has responsibility for overseeing Property Management and the Accountancy/IT elements of the Company.

Graeme Elkington

Graeme qualified with a Degree in Building Surveying in 1986 and became a Chartered Surveyor in 1990. He has previously worked for a local authority, as well as a number of private surveying and property management companies, becoming a Director of one of these in 2000. He is a founder Director of Faraday and retains responsibility for the management and development of the Building Surveying department, where the team work on both managed residential properties and properties of external commercial clients.

Ian Gilbert

Ian graduated in 1979 with a BSc in Building Technology and has worked in both private and social housing for nearly 30 years. He is a member of the Institute of Residential Property Management and has extensive experience of working with Residents’ Management Companies, especially with regard to site staff, repairs and services’ management. Ian joined Faraday in 2006 from his previous position as Director within a large Central London firm of managing agents. He is primarily responsible for general property management and also management enquiries.
